TIERRA QUEMADA

- Las casas que se rescataron fueron estas, menos las de allá arriba, se veía lindo, era lindo si, pero después empezó el incendio y se quemaron todos los conejos que había aquí. Y era alto, como de esa altura, era así como si se iba a acabar el mundo.
Dos pájaros, la versión de los Carabineros de Chile, dice eso. A las 4 de la tarde del sábado 12 de abril dos aves se posaron en un cable del tendido eléctrico en las afueras de Valparaíso. El viento, que estaba fuertísimo, sacudió esos cables. Los electrocutaron. Las chispas saltaron al suelo, volaron por los pastizales. El incendio se había iniciado. El viento sur hizo que tomara fuerza. Se quemó la tierra.
